FDL series

The symmetrical air conduction throughout the inner chamber and the defined air-flow rates guarantee reproducible data and the exact definition of non-volatile compounds (NFA according to ISO 3251). The silicone, dust-free inner chamber reliably prevents undesirable changes in the paint surfaces. The large-surface filter cartridge attains a considerably higher filtration efficiency than e.g. filter fleece and reliably collects suspended particles from the fresh air. It can be replaced particularly easily as a whole unit, with no filter residues penetrating the inner chamber. The practical inner chamber width of 602 mm enables drying of all common test-sheet sizes.
Safety and paint-drying ovens in the FDL series fulfil all the safety regulations for handling substances containing solvents, in accordance with EN 1539 (formerly VBG 24).

The FDL 115 precision safety oven
acc. to EN 1539 and VBG 24.
- The FDL 115 precision safety drying oven is used within the framework of quality testing for burning-in finishes or liquid coating materials and in general for substances containing organic solvents. The main risk in this case is that solvent vapors arising during the drying process can form an explosive mixture with air. For this reason, these applications are subject to the safety requirements of the EN 1539 and to the special accident prevention guideline VBG 24. With its new FDL 115 precision safety drying oven not only offer and outstanding safety concept thanks to unsurpassed exact temperature maintenance, it also meets all quality testing requirements.
